The Confederate privateer schooner Beauregard (ex-Priscilla C. Ferguson) was captured by William G. Anderson in the Bahama Channel 12 November 1861; purchased from the Key West, Florida, Prize Court 24 February 1862; and commissioned 28 March 1862, Acting Master D. Stearns in command.
