Tug Mariner
Photographed prior to 1917, while still in civilian service. Built in 1906, this 113-foot tug was acquired by the Navy from the Panama Canal Commission and commissioned on 1 February 1918 as USS Mariner. She had no "SP" or "ID" number. The tug was returned to her owner on 13 January 1919.
