HMS Hampton Court was a 70-gun third rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, launched at Deptford Dockyard in 1678.[1]
She underwent a rebuild in 1701 at Blackwall Yard, remaining a 70-gun third rate. Hampton Court was captured in 1707 by a french squadron off Beachy Head and sold out one year later to Spain.[2]
