The Rhin was a 44-gun Virginie class frigate of the French Navy.
She took part in the Battle of Cape Finisterre and in the Battle of Trafalgar.
She was captured by HMS Mars on 28 July 1806, after a 26 hour chase, and brought into Royal Navy service as HMS Rhin.
She was deleted in 1872.
