MS Grand Mistral is a cruise ship currently sailing for Iberocruceros and formerly owned by Festival Cruise Line.[3]
Ship history
Mistral was completed in 1999 by Chantiers de l'Atlantique for Festival Cruise Line. Her first cruise started 17 July 1999, from Venice to the Greek islands. Winter cruises will be in the Caribbean. Mistral briefly visited Southampton, in poor weather, on Sunday 27 June 1999. She arrived around noon, and was due to leave at 6.30pm. A lengthened versions of the design were delivered as European Vision and European Stars in 2001. Following the collapse of Festival Cruises, Mistral was taken over by her builders, who chartered her to Iberojet, as the Grand Mistral.[4]
