HMS Ramillies was a 74-gun third rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, launched on 15 April 1763 at Chatham Dockyard.[1]
In 1782 she was part of a fleet under Admiral Graves off Newfoundland. Ramillies was badly damaged in a violent storm, and was finally abandoned and burned on 21 September 1782.[citation needed]
