The Hudson Yacht Club (HYC) is a boating and social club founded in 1909 in Hudson, Quebec on the shores of the Lake of Two Mountains. Boasting several hundred members and boats, it has multiple sailing programs and hosts the annual FruitBowl, Quebec's largest youth regatta, drawing participants from across eastern Canada and the United States. FruitBowl was established in 1996 by the local sailing coach for the purposes of attracting sailors and high quality coaches to Hudson, as a showcase event for youth regattas. The grounds and shoreline of the Hudson Yacht Club represent arguably some of the best real estate in Hudson. Each Labour Day Weekend the HYC opens its property and facilities to hundreds of Montreal-area sailors for its annual regatta.
