The MS Fennica and her sistership the MS Nordica are Finnish icebreakers. They are multi purpose vessels, intended to operate in the offshore industry outside ice season.
They are designed to advance backwards when encountering heavy pack ice, thus utilizing the full propulsion power for breaking the ice.

- Displacement 4500 tons
- Propulsion 20,000 kW diesel electric powering two azimuth thrusters aft
