MS Stena Germanica is a large cruiseferry, operated by Stena Line on the overnight Gothenburg - Kiel service, along with her sister ship MS Stena Scandinavica.
She was originally launched in 1981 as MS Stena Scandinavica. However, due to problems at the construction yard, completion was delayed and it wasn't until 1987 when she entered service as MS Stena Germanica on the same route that she still operates today. But in 2010 the Stena Germanica and Stena Scandinavica will be replacing Stena Baltica(Koningin Beatrix) and Finnarow on the Karlskrona - Gdynia route.
