Pacific Egret is a INF Class 3 nuclear waste carrier which was launched in January 2010 and is currently undergoing fitting out with a scheduled in-service date of June 2010.
Construction
Pacific Egret was built by Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding, Tamano, Japan. She was launched on 12 January 2010. The ship is currently undergoing fitting-out, with completion scheduled in June 2010. Her homeport will be Barrow in Furness, Cumbria.[1]
