The Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron (RNSYS) is a yacht club located on the Northwest Arm of Halifax Harbour in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Primarily a sailing club, the RNSYS also offers instructional programs and on water activities for all ages.
The RHSYS beginnings date back to July 1837, and the first clubhouse was built in 1860 - originally named The Royal Halifax Yacht Club. RNSYS is the finish line for the biennial Marblehead to Halifax Ocean Race which begins in Marblehead, Massachusetts
