The Tugboat Urger is the flagship of the New York State Barge Canal fleet.
She was originally built in 1901 in Michigan as the Henry J. Dornbos. She was sold in 1920 to the New York State Barge Canal system and renamed Urger. She was retired in 1980 but was reactivated in 1991 to serve as both a floating classroom and as the flagship of the New York State Barge Canal System.
