USS Tenedos (1861)

USS Tenedos was a ship purchased 16 October 1861 for the Stone Fleet. She was a bark of 245 tons, 300 foot long. Under the command of Master O. Sisson, she was sunk as an obstruction in the harbor of Charleston, SC on 19 December or 20, 1861. She was originally a Pacific whaler, owned by Lawrence and Company of New London, Connecticut.
