Carnival Breeze is a Dream-class cruise ship, currently on order and will be one of the latest of the Carnival Cruise Lines ships to enter the fleet; expecting to enter service in in Spring 2012. Her sister ship, the Carnival Dream entered service on September 21, 2009 and the Carnival Magic which will be entering service in 2011.
Concept and Construction
Carnival Breeze is the third Dream-class ship, with sisters, Carnival Dream and Carnival Magic. Carnival Breeze will be built at Fincantieri Monfalcone in Italy. This class is currently the largest to be ever built in Fincantieri. The ship's features have not yet been revealed, to be unveiled in the upcoming months. Carnival Breeze is expected to have the same design as her sisters. Signature Dream-class elements, such as the half-mile exterior promenade with cantilevered whirlpools, and a 23,750-ft2 wellness facility will be included. The new features will be revealed soon.
Other features included are the WaterWorks aqua park with a 300-foot-long corkscrew water slide, an indoor/outdoor café with live entertainment venue called Ocean Plaza and a wide range of staterooms including deluxe ocean views with two bathrooms, some of which feature five berths and hold particular appeal for families.[2]
Highlights
According to Carnival's press release,[2] the ship and her sisters, the Carnival Dream and the Carnival Magic are expected to have the widest variety of activity, dining, and entertainment options of the entire fleet. Exact details have not been released to date.
Itinerary
The Carnival Breeze has not been assigned a home port or itinerary as of yet.
