USS Nanticoke (YTB-803) was a natick Class District Harbor Tug laid down 1969, at Peterson Builders, Sturgeon Bay, WI. and placed in service in the 12th Naval District at San Francisco. She served her whole career there until she was taken out of service in 1999. She was subsequently sold to a private concern and is still in service as the Canal Protector.
